My breaking through as a professional singer started in 1982 in Cuba. Since 1989, I live in Switzerland, which enabled me to establish myself in Europe where I appeared at the different festivals with groups or solo (e.g. in Paris at New Morning’s, with Rembert Egües and later with NG La Banda, who also accompanied me in Frankfurt, Geneva, Rubigen, Freiburg i. Br. and in Belfort). I toured with different Swiss groups such as Picason, Cuba meets Swiss Rock by the Schmetterband, not forgetting an exiting tour with the excellent ETH Big Band featuring both the ama­zing American trombonist Ray Anderson and me. Then, I went back to Cuba to refresh my musical inspirations. Among others, I participated the last two years at the Havana’s Bolero Festival. Now, I’m back to ex­perience with ambitious musicians a fine fusion of Latin soul, presenting to the audience a very personal rainbow of music.

Paz's versatility allows her to range freely over a musical terrain, en­compassing traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms, Latin Jazz, Salsa and fusion of every sort; always imbuing every song with her own unique insights, emotions and creativity. The synthesis that generated her own identity has now brought her to be where she wanted to be: a singer who propa­gates genuine passion for music.
